The OMSC Guidance and Testing Center is a vital student service unit dedicated to supporting the personal, academic, social, and career development of all students. Established in 1972, the center has continually evolved to meet the diverse needs of the OMSC community across all campuses.

Guided by its philosophy — “Where service is selfless and rooted with passion” — the center provides comprehensive programs that nurture well-balanced individuals capable of making sound decisions and contributing positively to society.

The Guidance and Testing Center aims to assist the individual attain
personal adjustment, make important life decisions, undertake the task of making
towards positive change and responsive to the global perspective.

empowered individual with a focused direction, sustainable and meaningful life.

Objectives

Objectives - General

To provide assistance and support to stakeholders through the effective
implementation of the Guidance Services moving towards greater development.

1. To upgrade the Guidance Center resources.
2. To update the Testing Services.
3. To maintain a healthy relationship with the administration, faculty members and students.
4. To assist students gain competencies in the career development at all education levels, competencies that underscore student success.
5. To disseminate reliable information through bulletin board display and announcement.
6. To assist, develop and protect student's individuality and provide them with skills to function effectively with others in school, home and community.
